Sri Nimishamba Temple - Srirangapatna, Karnataka

Srirangapatna is a town of Mandya district in the Indian State of Karnataka. Shrirangapattana loated around 15 Kms from Mysore and 120 Kms from Bangalore is of religious, cultural and historic importance.
 
Sri Nimishambha Temple is on the bank of Cauvery river located around 2 km from Srirangapattana bus stand in the eastern direction beyond Tippu's summer palace on the road leading to Sangam. Goddess Nimishamba is considered as the incarnation of Goddess Parvathi, the consort of Lord Shiva.
